“The letters QR stand for Quick Response.”
The QR-code was developed to be deciphered quickly. The objective of a QR-code is to ask information quickly. Beside the fact that QR-codes can identify products, they are often applied to posters and in magazines.
Moreover, they prevent that mistakes are made by copying information.
Barcodes and QR-codes can be applied in many different ways. The two most obvious ones are printing and laser engraving.
- The printing of codes has to its advantage that they can be produced in color. Furthermore the stickers can be glued to almost any surface, which makes them very versatile.
- On the other hand is laser engraving indelible. You will find many QR-codes engraved in stainless steel plates in the off shore.
